This Temporary Hospital Can Be Folded And Carried Anywhere

Recently, on Instagram, there are pictures of a temporary hospital with a special design. Even though the hospital covers an area of only 35 square meters, it can still accommodate 4 beds, a fully-functional bathroom, and all kinds of medical machines. The most special feature of this temporary hospital is that the entire room can be folded up, put on wheels, and moved to anywhere.

The company behind the idea is Boxabl, founded in 2017. Boxabh announced that it could make these temporary hospitals immediately and ship them any places if the situation got worse.

Earlier, Boxabl already showcased its “puzzle” mini house called Casita. Basically, the house prefabricated, dividing the space into a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom. About two-thirds of the house’s volume can be reduced during transportation, y folding the wall, floor, and roof. After that, the house can be moved to anywhere.

Boxabl even plans to launch an additional version where those two small houses are put together into a two-story house. At the moment, customers can rent these compact houses with furniture and essential items (around $50,000) for only $250 per month.

The house can fit almost everything, from a mattress, a toilet, a washing machine, a refrigerator, an oven. There is a rotating TV inside the living room. However, the kitchen and bathroom can’t be changed. Customers can only make changes to the living room and the bedroom.

Because of limited availability, customers who are interested can only book in advance. The house will be shipped to where they live and completed within 24 hours. The material used by Boxabl is said to be very durable even under harsh environments. All walls, floors, and roofs are resistant to ants, termites, water, fire, and mold.
