Are you a fan of thrills? Do you like to get your adrenaline pushed to the highest level? Do you want to challenge yourself? All you have to do is driving down this road in China.
Although looking at this road can make your head spin, the road is the promise to the most spectacular adventure you’ll ever be on.
The road we’re talking about is has 68 hairpins in total while it is only 6.3 kilometers long. You can see as well as experience the curves yourself by visiting this road in Kunming, Yunnan.
China constructed this road so that the two villages Jinxing and Jinganshao can be connected to each other. In 1995, the road was first put in use, but now it has surpassed its initial mission to offer a scenic journey to drivers and riders.
Talking to a reporter from Xinhua news, Li Guogua said that thanks to the road, villagers, including him, do not have to carry goods on their shoulders whenever they need to get down the mountain and go to the market anymore.
The road is also called “a wonder in the world history of construction”. Located in Yunnan, the road is approximately 2,000 meters above sea level.
If you ever visit China, make sure you don’t miss this spectacular dizzy road for an incredible ride, where you can also take a trip on some other spectacular mountain roads.
For example, the built-up highway in Zhengzhou, Henan province, it literally digs out on cliffs. The beautiful road is also known as Guoling Hanging Tunnel Road.
Or the Aizhai Winding Mountain Road, this one may not look as impressive or dizzy, it has 13 hairpins, running to the top of the mountain. The road is built in Changsha, Hunan province.
The 24 Zigzag looks a lot like the road in Yunnan, but it is only 4 kilometers long with 24 bends. This one is located in Guizhou province.
