China constructed this road so that the two villages Jinxing and Jinganshao can be connected to each other. In 1995, the road was first put in use, but now it has surpassed its initial mission to offer a scenic journey to drivers and riders.
Talking to a reporter from Xinhua news, Li Guogua said that thanks to the road, villagers, including him, do not have to carry goods on their shoulders whenever they need to get down the mountain and go to the market anymore.
The road is also called “a wonder in the world history of construction”. Located in Yunnan, the road is approximately 2,000 meters above sea level.
