This 6-Story Building Has Gas Stations On Both Of Its Top And Bottom Floors

Chongqing, located in the Southwest of China, has always been known as one of the most unique cities in China. Called a “city on rivers” and “mountain city,” the megacity is in the mountainous western region of the country at the junction where two rivers meet: Jialing and Yangtze. A major urban area sits on mountains forces Chongqing to think outside of the box in terms of urban development.

The city is relatively small, compared with the number of people packed into it, around 8.5 million people. That means you will see some architecture that only Chongqing has. For example, there is a metro train passing through a building and there is actually a transit spot there. Roads on top of buildings are common as well as multi-layered flyover and futuristic high-rise buildings.

The city never stops surprising people, both Chinese and foreigners with its weird buildings. One of them has made the rounds on social media. The 6-story building has gas stations on both of its top and bottom floors.

The building is near the Yangtze River and to serve vehicles running on two different roads at different heights. The other floors in the building are used as parking garages.
