According to a recent statement, one of the main factors that have had bad effects on the air quality in Delhi is stubble burning in the neighboring states.
The severe air pollution in Delhi has long become the most interested topic when it comes to the capital of India. Until now, it doesn’t still tend to improve and even has further downgraded.
The reason for the alarming case originates from the neighboring states in which thousands of farm fires are burning per day.
On Thursday, stubble burning in the northwestern region of India reached the peak with approximately 2,100 found fire cases. The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) claimed that Delhi’s air quality could deteriorate to the lower level.
The PM2.5 concentration in Delhi is increasing when the pollutants have been trapped in the normal meteorological conditions. That means these pollutants are less dispersive in the air.
SAFAR under the Union Ministry of Earth Sciences said that in the next two days, the air quality in Delhi may vary pursuant to the wind direction.
In addition to stubble burning in neighboring states, there are a lot of other factors in contributing to the air pollution in the national capital, like pollution from industrial factories, emission from vehicles as well as smoke from fireworks in the Diwali festival.
