The late Stan Lee's last animated cameo in an episode of Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest will be aired this Sunday.

Stan Lee has had a lot of cameo roles in live-action movies and animated series in the past. The late legendary comic publisher's last animated cameo in an episode of Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest will be aired this Sunday.

Even though Lee passed away in November 2018, he had filmed several cameos before that, and the last of his animated cameo will be aired soon. Marvel has revealed that Lee's last cameo is in an episode titled "T'Chanda," in which the Black Panther discovers the secret about his grandfather.

Stan Lee will play an Army General in a flashback scene set in the 40s. After Arnim Zola is captured, Stan Lee's character gives him a speech about intolerance. His character said, "Hate doesn't make you strong, it makes you weak."

According to Marvel Animation's Senior Vice President Cort Lane, although his appearance is brief, it has significant importance as the character's speech is based on Stan Lee's own speech about hatred and intolerance. Lee once said that hatred would never win.

Mark Hamill and Stan Lee

Cort Lane also said that this episode of Black Panther's Quest had a special personal meaning to her, it was Stan Lee's last filmed animated cameo role. She felt sad that Stan Lee passed away but happy that they could convey a message expressing Stan Lee's true feeling about this world, which had inspired him to write so many great stories.

It has also been revealed that Mark Hamill was in the same studio when Stan Lee was recording the animated cameo, the two were extremely impressed by each other. Although this episode of Black Panther’s Quest will be Stan Lee's last animated appearance, he had recorded cameo roles in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, we will have to wait to see whether he has cameo roles in X-Men: Dark Phoenix or The New Mutants.
