Pastor Feeds Congregations Rat Poison To Prove Immortality; Five Dead

Christian Pastor Light Monyeki persuaded his congregants to drink rat poison to prove that they are above death and five people were dead because of that.

Christian Pastor Light Monyeki from Soshanguve, South Africa tried to prove that every human being has superpowers and immortality by a very dangerous trick.

Christian Pastor Light Monyeki allegedly denied all the responsibilities after the incident.

He told worshipers at his church that they should not fear death: “We do not need to proclaim faith because we are believers. If nyaope [a street drug] boys can smoke Rattax for more than eight years, who are we? Death has no power over us” before when pouring rat poison straight into the mouth of the believers ...

Shockingly, many people still believed and rushed to have a sip from this dangerous drink. As a result, the members of Light Monyeki's church began complaining about stomach pains and by the evening, five of them had died from severe poisoning.

The next day, another 13 people were taken to the hospital for drinking the lethal drink. But despite everything, Monyeki still denied responsibility when the court accused of causing death. Instead of repenting, the pastor said: "Too many good things will turn into something bad, friends ?!".

Photos have emerged online showing that Light Monyeki was pouring water with rat poison down his congregants' throats during the service.

This is not the first time something like this happens in Africa. In 2014, the 'miracle worker' Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Centre Ministries in South Africa told congregants of his church to eat grass as it could give them healing and strength.

In 2015, a young paster called Penuel Mnguni persuaded his congregants to eat live snakes as he claimed that believers can eat anything through the power of God. The man was arrested shortly after that for animal cruelty.
