In case you still want to watch or download untrusted versions of the said movies or any other films, please keep in mind that harmful backlinks are down the road. To help people prevent themselves away from malware and virus, Kaspersky suggests a number of basic tips for safety.
Here are some dedicated tips you should follow not only when deciding to watch or download any movies but also other types of videos or files:
1. Pay attention to the release date to notice suspicious links and avoid clicking on them.
2. Check the source you’re visiting to ensure its legitimation and terms of privacy. Sites with “https” are your first priority.
3. Re-check the file type. Movies and video, in general, usually comes packed with “.mp4”, “.mkv”, and “.avi”. Never download a file having a “.exe” extension.
