This Smart Faucet Gives You The Exact Amount Of Water At The Exact Temperature You Ask

You can request this smart faucet for an amount of water at a certain temperature and it will intelligently mix hot and cold water exactly the way you want.

At CES 2017, we saw Moen reveal a smart shower system that users can preheat using their smartphones instead of having to leave the bed. And at the upcoming CES 2020, the firm will introduce the same tech to your kitchen, revealing a smart faucet that can really give a helping hand.

Unlike the expensive smart shower system, the smart faucet is much more affordable and will help you get water at the right temperature you need. The faucet features sensors to mix hot water with cold water that flows through your pipe to make sure you get the exact temperature you choose.

Users can request temperatures through Moen’s app for Android or Apple phones or using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant devices. If users want to use voice commands, they will need at least one smart speaker. Besides requesting the voice assistants to mix water at a certain temperature, users can also ask them to make the water a bit cooler or warmer as in daily conversations between humans.

Users can also operate the faucet using hand motions thanks to built-in sensors along with a lever that can be used to adjust the temperature, as well as an LED light that changes color between red and blue to indicate if the water is being warmed or cooled.

The most innovative feature of this smart faucet is that it can give users a specific amount of water, which users can choose via its mobile app or the voice assistants. It can dispense an amount as small as a tablespoon. For instance, users can request a cup of water at 30 degrees C, which is perfectly convenient if you need exact measuring for cooking recipes.

Another great thing is that you don’t need a professional plumber to install the faucet, you can do it yourself at your own home. And the faucet comes with a set of batteries if there’re no electrical outlets under your sink.

Want a smart faucet now for your smart home, don’t you?
