A man from Greater Noida reported shot his friend while playing Ludo because he was sneezing and joking about spreading COVID-19.

The fear of being infected with COVID-19 has caused rational and irrational fears as well. People are trying unimaginable things to make sure they are safe from the virus. However, things may get out of hand sometimes, just like this incident in Noida.

IANS reports that a man from Greater Noida shot his friend because he was sneezing. The incident happened while the men and two others were playing a Ludo game.

Rajesh Kumar Singh, Greater Noida DCP confirmed the incident, saying that the police were looking into it.

The DCP explained that the victim sneezed while they were playing the game. After that, the shooter angrily asked if he was trying to spread the virus. The victim pretended to sneeze again and even joked about spreading the virus.

The shooter then used a country-made pistol to shoot his friend. People started to gather around. The police then arrived at the scene and took the victim to the hospital. His condition is stable at the moment.
