As locust swarms taking over the sky in many parts of India, people are fighting back with genius ideas and inventions.
In a Tweet shared by Parveen Kaswan, an officer of the Indian Forest Service, we can see a special device with a plastic bottle having a fan attached to one side of it. On the other side, there is a kettledrum with a cardboard fin on it.
When the wind blows and pushed the fan, the drum starts to beat, making loud noise to scare the locust swarms away.
According to Parveen Kaswan, the clip was first made public by Rahul Srivastav, a police officer in Uttar Pradesh.
The clip quickly got popular with more than 28k views on Twitter. Here are how the Internet reacts:
