Ravi Hongal is said to be obsessed with photography since he was a child. Back then, he was not the best student in the class, but he was always around with his Zenit and Pentax cameras taking pictures. He was confident that he would make a living working as a photographer. And he was right. With his business picking up, he opened a studio of his own and named it Rani, his wife’s name.

In a video, while only the exterior of his house is visible, the description states that the interior decorations also mimic different parts of a camera.
