Each year, there are a lot of students dreaming to get a job at tech giants like Facebook, Microsoft, and of course, Google. It seems like a competition to see who can undergo the most toils, works the hardest, and has the most enthusiasm. Are you curious about the Indian boy hired by Google in this story? Let's go!
However, sometimes the most unexpected things happen. Abdullah Khan, a student from Shree LR Tiwari Engineering College located in Mira Road, India, is the unexpectedly lucky Indian boy hired by Google. After taking an online contest just to kill time, he ended up landing a whopping Rs 1.2 crore package at Google’s office in London.
According to a report from Times of India, Google contacted Khan and offered him an interview based on his profile as well as performance during online programming contests.
Khan had to undergo several online interview rounds before the tech giant asked him to come to the final screening, which would take place at Google’s London-based office.
Khan excelled at the interview and is ready to take the job he never thought he’d get. The chosen boy said, as reported by Times of India, that:
After finishing his study in Saudi Arabia, Khan that has a passion for coding moved to Mumbai.
This is the second time a lucky student has landed an unexpected job offer at Google in the same way as Khan did. Back in 2018, the tech giant offered an Indian student with its Rs 1.2 crore pay package. The blessed talent back then was Sneha Reddy who attended the Indian Institutes of Technology at Hyderabad. He will come to work in the site reliability engineering team at Google this September. Wish all the best for the Indian boy hired by Google!
