Indian Boy Landed A 1.2 Crore Job At Google After Killing Time In Online Programming Contest

However, sometimes the most unexpected things happen. Abdullah Khan, a student from Shree LR Tiwari Engineering College located in Mira Road, India, is the unexpectedly lucky Indian boy hired by Google. After taking an online contest just to kill time, he ended up landing a whopping Rs 1.2 crore package at Google’s office in London.

According to a report from Times of India, Google contacted Khan and offered him an interview based on his profile as well as performance during online programming contests.

Khan had to undergo several online interview rounds before the tech giant asked him to come to the final screening, which would take place at Google’s London-based office.

Khan excelled at the interview and is ready to take the job he never thought he’d get. The chosen boy said, as reported by Times of India, that:

This is the second time a lucky student has landed an unexpected job offer at Google in the same way as Khan did. Back in 2018, the tech giant offered an Indian student with its Rs 1.2 crore pay package. The blessed talent back then was Sneha Reddy who attended the Indian Institutes of Technology at Hyderabad.
