58 members of the Indian Army’s Tornadoes stunt team climbed on a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle and went for 1.2km on the Yelahanka air base’s runway which is in the suburbs of Bengaluru.
To pull off this trick takes a lot of practice and hard work. And if you think you have seen these men somewhere before, it is the same team performing stunts in the Republic Day parade on the Rajpath.
2. Indian Air Force C-130 – Longest global flight

The C-130J Super Hercules is considered to be one of the Indian Air Force’s most versatile aircraft. It can drop para commandos to enemy territory, carry goods, and fly low to the ground. And now, the Indian Air Force set the record for having the longest flight on the C-130.
On November 18, 2017, the aircraft took off and landed at 18:31 pm, flying 13 hours and 31 mins. And even the United States Air Force hasn’t achieved this feat even though it has operated the C-130 from the 1950s.
3. Indian Navy Divers – 230 mts dive

The Indian Navy set the national record by performing the deepest dive. In 2011, off the coast of Kochi, five soldiers took a 233-meter dive from the diving support vessel of the INS Nireekshak.
4. First Indian to para jump over both the South and North Poles

Para jump instructor Kamal Singh Oberh from the Indian Air Force’s Paratrooper Training School, Agra is the first man in the country to perform parachuting over both the South and North Poles. In 2000, he jumped over the South Pole and in 2002 the North Pole.
5. The fastest trip around the world in a microlight

In 2007, two wing commanders of the Indian Air Force, Rahul Monga and Anil Kumar set a world record for flying around the world in a microlight aircraft in 79 days. During the trip, the aircraft landed at 81 destinations and covered 40,497 km.
The microlight aircraft had no built-in redundant features and weighed only 300kg. During their journey, there were times when the weather was unfavorable and they were stuck for six days in Anchorage, Alaska and four days in Germany.
6. Fighting at the highest battlefield in the world

With its domination over the Siachen glacier, India has a commanding position and won the 1984 OP Meghdoot. Siachen Glacier is known as the highest battlefield and the world and it is guarded by the Indian Army throughout the years. The Indian Air Force’s Cheetah helicopters carried all the supplies and assisted with the evacuation.
