Indian Army Introduced Secure Messaging App Just For Its Soldiers

In a statement on the release of the app, the Army said the model of SAI was similar to that of its counterparts for civilian use like Telegram and WhatsApp. The app also had end-to-end encryption, GIMS, and SAMVAD.

The app was developed by the Indian Army and its name stands for Secure Application for Internet.

According to the statement, SAI would use pan Army to achieve secure messaging. It has support for video and voice calls, as well as text with end-to-end encryption for Android.
