In Rajasthan, the temperatures in Churu district reached 50 Celsius degrees while Bikaner saw the temperatures of 47.4 Celsius degrees. Kota had 46.5 Celsius degrees while Jaipur recorded 45 Celsius degrees.
The India Meteorological Department had warned that because of the prevailing dry winds that blew over central India, northwest India as well as some parts of eastern India, the heatwave conditions would intensify.
In Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperatures were recorded at 48 Celsius degrees. Hissar in Haryana also had the same temperatures. In Maharashtra, regions like Akola and Nagpur Sonegaon recorded a maximum temperature of 46.5 Celsius degrees and 46.8 Celsius degree respectively.

In India’s neighboring country, Pakistan, Jacobahad recorded a maximum temperature of 50 Celsius degrees. Meanwhile, Pad Idan and Nawabshah regions reached 49 Celsius degrees.
After May 28, the scorching heatwave will reduce. On the other hand, the department predicted that Meghalaya and Assam will have very heavy rainfall. In both states, a weather alert with red-color code has been issued.
It is dangerous to be under intense heat. So it is best for everyone to remain indoors and keep themselves hydrated.
