India Will Immediately Block 827 Porn Websites As The Uttarakhand High Court's Order

The Uttarakhand High Court has ordered that over 800 porn websites that contain pornographic contents to be blocked immediately.

The Indian government has had Internet service providers block 827 porn websites due to the Uttarakhand High Court’s order. In fact, the court required 857 porn sites blocked, but the Ministry of Electronics and IT (Meity) found that 30 of them had no pornographic content.
Official sources indicated that Meity ordered DoT to block 827 porn sites as listed.
DoT said that, accordingly, all internet service providers are instructed to immediately block the listed websites that contain pornographic contents, following the order from Miety and the Hight Court.
The Uttarakhand High Court issued the order on September 27, 2018, which Meity received on October 8th, 2018.
