When researching new product lines, Kohler focused on smart, hands-free and practical yet still luxurious and refined. The company has introduced this voice recognition technology named Kohler Konnect at Consumer Electronics Show last year. On the occasion of CES 2019, Kohler has revealed the first-ever interconnected bathroom suite called the Veil Lighted Collection.
The full collection consists of a lighted mirror, an intelligent toilet, a lighted three-piece vanity and a freestanding bath that work together as a system with accommodated lighting. All pieces of the collection are adjustable with motion or voice control. This is the result of Kohler's collaboration with Signify, which used to be Philips Lighting, one of the leading companies specializing in connected lighting.
The ambiance of each element can be adjusted separately to better connect to "your natural circadian rhythm". This way, the lightning will not interfere with your sleep patterns.
The suite can connect to either Google Assistant or Amazon's Alexa, which is a plus. For instance, you will enjoy for sure every time you come into your bathroom and command “OK Google, set bathroom to 'awake.” to activate all the lighting and warm-up system.
To have the mirror of this set, you have to pay $899, and $7,000 for the Numi 2.0 warm up toilet.
Let’s see what The Veil Lighted Collection can do:
The free-standing bath has "gentle illumination” and sculpted curves, as stated on Kohler's website.
The mirror has a magnifying feature which can be activated with motion. The color temperature of the light can be modified with remote control, voice or a handwave.
This can be especially useful on days when you don’t look or feel well.
The price for the bathtub alone is around $5,000.
The vanity includes glass doors and a sink that can change from translucent to semi-opaque.

The toilet also has mood lighting and will be warmed up if you ask it to do so.
A warm toilet seat is definitely comfortable.
Pretty relaxing stuff, right?
