TikTok's Important Community Guidelines Users Should Know About

According to TikTok, the company is currently taking actions against users who disobey its community guidelines

TikTok recently claimed that some users’ accounts had been taken down because they posted videos violating the community guidelines of the platform.

TikTok is currently a popular place for sharing short videos, and it said that when an account was suspended, its user could not log in anymore, nor they could interact with any other contents or posted any new video on the platform.

A few months before this crackdown on violated users, TikTok was temporarily banned in India. However, after the ban was removed, there have been some safety features added to TikTok.

If you are currently using the platform, below are some important community guidelines you should know.

As stated in the community guidelines, there will be a ban on any content that incites hatred against a group or a person because of their age, gender identity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, culture, nationality, religion, ethnicity, race or other discrimination.

Nudity-Promoting Content Or Harmful Graphic Content

If you are a TikTok’s user, you belong to an international community; therefore, you must not post any content which could cause danger to other users, or encourage them to self-harm. Besides, you must not upload any content that is sexual or shocking on the network.

Child Safety 

If you post any content that exploits sexually, endangers, targets, or harms children in any way, you will get yourself in trouble with the authority and law enforcement.
