World's First Gold-Plated Hotel Introduced, You Wouldn't Believe How Much One Night Here Costs

Traveling to another country is still not possible for most people now, but when the pandemic finally comes to pass, you have a new destination to add to your bucket list, Hanoi, with its gold-plated hotel, also the first in the world of this kind.

You might have heard of gold toilet or gold fidget spinner, but the idea of a whole hotel seems to outshines everything else.

The First Gold-Plated Hotel In The World

People coming to Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi, will soon be able to see, or enjoy the luxury, of the first gold-plated 6-star hotel called Hanoi Golden Lake hotel.

The whole building is plated with 24K gold, both inside and outside. The construction started in 2009 and is expected to be done later this year.

What We Know About The Hotel

As you may have guessed, the hotel is now among the city’s prime locations now. It is built by Hoa Binh Group and stands on the bank of Giang Vo Lake, in Ba Dinh district.

The 25-storey hotel boasts 5,000 square meters of gold-plated ceramic on the outside. On the inside, it has equipment like 24K gilded furniture, golden bathroom amenities, and an infinity pool on the roof.

The lobby, decorations, and accessories are said to be plated with gold too.

Wyndham Hotel Group will be in charge of Hanoi Golden Lake hotel.

This Is How Much One Night Costs

This much luxury comes at a steep price, of course. One night in this hotel will set you back at least $250, approximately Rs. 19,000. Those who would like to stay longer can opt for the option of renting an apartment, with a price starting from Rs. 5 lakh for one square meter.
