Through a statement, Managing Director and Vice President of GoDaddy India stated that:

Owners of more than 4,500 small businesses from 10 nations, including Australia, America, Canada, India, and many more, have participated in the survey.

In addition, this survey also investigates the hardships that SMBs (small and medium-sized businesses) in India had to face and the urgent need to adapt to grow bigger.

As claimed by the survey, more than two-fifth of participating small businesses in India mentioned their difficulties in making sufficient investments into the business.

Many businesses also had to deal with external challenges, with 35 percent getting into troubles with societal turbulence and 23 percent failing to stay up to date with advancements in technology.

What’s more, 21 percent of participating Indian entrepreneurs considered cyber-attack a potential obstacle to the success of their company.

Although having to deal with these challenges, owners of small Indian businesses were still optimistic. As stated by the survey, 46 percent expressed their expectation to grow a minimum of 50 percent after three or five years from now.  This rate, according to the findings, is 1.7 times more than that of their counterparts worldwide, which is only 27 percent.
