Football is back from COVID-19 lockdown but matches attract not so many fans as people are not allowed in stadiums.
To replace audience often filled the benches, some use cardboard cut-outs. However, no matter how realistic these standees are, the lack of atmosphere is something to be expected.
To deal with this problem a football club in South Korea, FC Seoul, placed mannequins on the bleachers to make it looks like there are real people ahead of their match with Gwangju FC.
However, some believe these are not exactly mannequins, which are used to display clothes, but rather life-size s.e.x dolls.
This speculation was later confirmed by the FC themselves as they took to Instagram to apologize for the mistake.
The club blamed their supplier for the mix-up. However, the reliability of this claim is still up to debate. A simple explanation is a s.e.x doll is way more expensive than a mannequin so there is no way any company can mix up the two things as it will cost them a fortune.
Some eagle-eyed fans later spotted something that can explain everything. Some of the dolls on the bench appear to hold placards advertising for a local shop selling adult merchandise.
So this might simply be an advertisement after all.
