As written on BuzzFeed News, Musk is getting worked up about the lack of products that should have been manufactured in the Bay Area. From the viewpoint of the company’s leader, this is definitely a big problem for them when they only have two car factories located in Shanghai and Bay Area. The situation gets even worse when most of the products are manufactured in the Bay Area.

Musk used to underestimate the danger of the outspread fatal coronavirus that has brought death to more than 228,000 people all around the world. For example, on March 19, he “prophesied” that there would be no recorded cases by the end of April. A few weeks ago, he even regarded the virus as "dumb".

And he is claiming about his decreasing products while the national lockdown orders are believed to have saved the U.S. from being knocked down totally.

But these orders could have brought much better results if individual States were not attempting to reopen their economies. It is this attempt that has caused another spike in the number of new cases and deaths. 23901 is reported to be the new US confirmed cases, according to the CDC, and this number has risen up in just 24 hours.

Musk keeps showing his anger and anxiety towards the government’s decision to force people to stay at home regardless. As he said on his Wednesday’s call, the act of arresting people trying to get out of their houses was fascist, not democratic, and was showing no sign of freedom.

In fact, Musk’s arguments are totally unfounded. People do not care too much about being arrested because they are still allowed to go shopping for essentials. It is worth mentioning that these provisions are implemented widely, including California county, where Tesla’s factory is located, and they are advised by a vast majority of doctors and public health professionals.
