After receiving an invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Donald Trump has arrived in India for the first time. This trip of President Trump marks an important event for both countries as it will improve the two nations’ bilateral relations.

To protect the safety of the two leaders, security arrangements are strengthened. There is one unit accustomed to arrange such trips for the US President. Access to highways and the airport is closed. An entire floor of the hotel is booked. Let’s take a look at all the security tech used to protect the president of the United States.

Air Force One

The US President travels on these aircraft. The one used by President Trump is a customized Boeing 747-200B. The aircraft has top-notch navigation, communications and electronic equipment to protect it from any electromagnetic pulse. The aircraft is also equipped with extra secure communications equipment to become a mobile command center if an attack happens.

The aircraft uses multi-frequency radios for satellite, air-to-ground, and air-to-air communications. Its defense system is not kept hidden. However, the Air Force One is said to have radar jammers and a fire-shield that can detect and avoid heat-seeking rocket and missiles. In the case of the worst scenario, the aircraft can even start a nuclear war.

Air Force One with its 4,000-square-feet total floor space can accommodate a conference room, an office, a dining room as well as the president’s living quarters along with other setups.

The Beast

The limousine carrying President Trump is said to be the world’s safest car. Dubbed the Beast, the car stays true to its name. Wherever the President travels, the Air Force One will transport the unique Cadillac to that place. And the President only uses this car to move between different locations.

The one-of-a-kind vehicle comes with all needed security measures to protect the safety of the US President. For example, it has 8-inches thick military-grade armor that can even handle projectiles. The Beast’s five-layered windows and heavy electrified doors can form a 100% seal to withstand even chemical attacks. With this car, the President is protected against even armor-piercing bullets.

On the chassis, the steel plates of the vehicle have been reinforced to protect the President against bomb attacks. Kevlar is used for the tires, for puncture and shred resistance. The tires are also reinforced with steel rims.

Inside the car, there is a satellite phone in case something bad happens. The phone has a direct line to the Pentagon and the Vice President. Other features include Oxygen supply and a panic button. At the back of the car, there is a firefighting system, tear gas as well as smoke-screen dispensers.

The fuel tank of the car is armor-plated to prevent it from catching fire.

Motorcade

As you might have probably seen in several images or videos, whenever the Beast is on the move, it is protected with an entire caravan. With all the added features, the Beast is undoubtedly extremely heavy and it can only go at a limited speed. That’s why this caravan is used as the perfect supplement.

The caravan usually consists of 100 people in 40 to 50 vehicles. 5 minutes before the caravan arrives, the patrolling unit will check the route. The lead motorcycle will be in charge of steering the movement of the whole team. The local police forces will form a protective ring. This is known as the “secure package.” The pack is the closest protecting ring to the President. This includes several Beasts, creating a camouflage over the original vehicle of the US President.

Funny how it might sounds but this “Football” can bring the doomsday over anyone. It is a black leather briefcase accompanying the US President whenever he travels outside of America. Inside the briefcase, there is a nuclear device. And only the President has the secret code to launch a nuclear strike on any part of the planet.
