A Growing Number Of IT Jobs
From the findings, tech job opportunity has continuously grown in the last five years by an average of 8 percent from 2014's February to this year's February. These figures are largely from tech jobs listing by tech companies in the country, which were collated by the crawler of Indeed, an American worldwide employment search engine. Some even come right from the portal of Indeed India.
Sashi Kumar (Indeed India's managing director) has commented on this matter. He said that IT talent's demand had increased six-fold compared to the period from 2017 to 2018. Job profiles are changing and evolving at a very fast pace but could be met by our country' talents. Moreover, companies can also take the initiative to train their own employees with the needed skills to ensure their career path in the ever-changing IT landscape.
Software developments, analytics, technical roles, and data warehousing are the major areas which job opportunities are the best. JAVA development, application development, system infrastructure skills are losing their attraction.
Companies' digital transformation leads to many opportunities to work with complex and big data sets to recommend, support, and evaluate the business strategies implementation. That business necessitated tech firms in the country to recruit analytics managers. And according to Indeed, this job offers a median salary of at least 1,150,000 Rupees annually and can reach 2,400,000 Rupees a year.
