Delhi Will Have The Largest COVID-19 Facility In The World

The Delhi government has decided to convert the Radha Soami Spiritual Centre into the largest temporary care facility in the world with 10,000 beds.

With more and more number of COVID-19 cases detected in Delhi, there is an urgent demand for hospital beds. Therefore, the Delhi government has decided to convert the Radha Soami Spiritual Centre located in South Delhi into the largest temporary care facility for COVID-19 in the world with 10,000 beds. This facility will use corrugated cardboard beds.

Dhavan Box Sheet containers Pvt Ltd’s director, Vikram Dhavan, says that there is no need to sanitize these beds. While the virus can survive up to five days on wood, plastic, and metal, it can’t last for over 24 hours on cardboard.
