CES 2020: This Futuristic Toilet Will Keep Your Hands Clean

With technology, our home appliances get more digital. And now Kohler wants to bring technology to our bathrooms too with this futuristic toilet.

With technology, our home appliances get more digital. We now have IoT controlled air conditioners, fans, smart TVs, and more. Kohler wants to add technology to our toilets too.
This new product from Kohler is called Numi 2.0. And this is going to be the King of all toilet seats. Kohler revealed this toilet eat at CES 2020. The toilet has been designed with customized lighting zones which you can use your smartphone to control to set the mood.
There are sensors so you don’t even need to touch the toilet for flushing so you can stay away from the germs. The toilet is equipped with surround sound speakers to make sure that you are entertained.

No one likes sitting on a cold porcelain toilet on a winter morning. With Kohler’s PureWarmth technology, you won’t have to dread about this as your toilet seat will be kept warm to your liking.
Of course, all this smartness doesn’t come cheap. The toilet’s starting price is $7,000 for the white version and $9,000 for the black one.
Along with the toilet, a set of smart bathroom fixtures have also been launched. Kohler also unveiled a showerhead that looks like it comes out of a sci-fi movie with built-in Alexa. The speaker comes water-resistant and is equipped with Harman Kardon’s speaker drivers that will make sure to bring you crystal-clear audio.

The showerhead, called Moxie, is detachable. When the battery runs out, you can charge it. Once it is fully charged, you can use it for 6 to 7 hours. If you don’t want Alexa to snoop on you while you are taking a shower, you can go for a regular Bluetooth speaker instead.
The Moxie showerhead with Bluetooth speaker is $169 while the one with Alexa speaker is $229. The Bluetooth speaker is sold separately at $99 and $159 for the Alexa speaker.
