Ordering a product then getting delivered a fake one is frustrating, especially with expensive items like the iPhone 11 Pro.

Many e-commerce sites have face problems when their users got delivered with fake products after ordering on their platforms. This kind of incident displeases people, of course, especially if they have paid a bunch of money for a premium product like the iPhone 11. In this case, a man ordered an iPhone 11 Pro on Flipkart; however, he received a fake device.
According to International Business Times, the man in question is engineer Rajani Kant Kushwah, currently in Bengaluru. He ordered an 11 Pro, the 64GB version, on the site. He also made the entire payment in advance, which was Rs 93,900.
But when the man got the delivery, he was shocked to find that he just received a fake iPhone 11 with a sticker of the triple-camera module on its back.
The camera lenses on the fake iPhone were highlighted with a silver lining. On the real phone, the camera module on the back blends in with the back of the device.
According to the engineer, the fake iPhone didn’t even run the iOS operating system, saying the device has Android apps.
After getting delivered with the counterfeit, he contacted Flipkart, and the e-commerce giant assured him that it will soon replace the phone.
This is definitely not the first time an e-commerce site has run into this kind of problem. Not long ago, several customers complained that they order a Nintendo Switch on Amazon but got what they received was irrelevant items like condoms, dog food, air fresheners, etc. We hope that they will come up with a way to better control their deliveries to save both customers and themselves from incidents like these.
