In the last few days, India has witnessed a rise in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. And with the situation going on around the world, people need to take extreme precautions. And to ease the crisis, billionaires like Jack Ma have come forward to make contributions.

Anand Mahindra is trying to contribute his efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

On his Twitter, the billionaire wrote that he would like to help by manufacturing ventilators and turning his resorts into temporary COVID-19 facilities.

He also shared that The Mahindra Foundation would provide support for those that are worst-hit by the pandemic. Mahindra will contribute 100% of his salary to those in need.

After his posts, people are praising Mahindra for his initiative and contributions.

The outbreak first started out in Wuhan, China and since then, it has spread to over 160 countries around the world. 336,000 cases have been recorded with over 14,600 deaths. India has 396 total confirmed cases with 7 deaths. 75 districts in the country have entered full lockdown. All rail movements have been stopped. Preventing the spread of the virus, many state governments have shut down colleges, schools, colleges until March 31st. Restaurants are facing a huge loss in profit as people avoid public places in fear of COVID-19. Travelers arriving at the Indian borders will have their body temperatures checked by the medical staff.
