Following Anand Mahindra’s promise to get rid of plastic bottles, the Mahindra Group’s chairman shared a picture on twitter which features a water tank recycled into a parking space for two scooters.
The inventor has cut off once side of the water tank for vehicles’ entry and exit.
Mahindra is known to often share on his Twitter such creative innovations many times. This time, he praised the idea of building eco-friendly parking by making use of a plastic water tank.
Since then, the tweet has received more than 14,703 likes and 1,419 retweets. It’s also an inspiration for people to start sharing their own methods of reusing as well as recycling plastic products.
Just last month, Mahindra shared a post about the creative "hydraulic door." The owner of the video shared on TikTok is @rinkal_dhillion. The video became viral not only on the short video-sharing app but on other platforms as well. Mahindra said he watched the video via WhatsApp. He then shared the video as one of his #WhatsAppWonderBox to highlight creative thinking.
Another video posted by Mahindra shows a farmer trying to shift the husks and grain after harvest. This process would normally be done by hand, however, the farmer used a piece of machinery that looks like a plowing tractor instead.
The tractor has been modified with a mechanical arm, turning it into an excavator. Instead of a metal scoop, the farmer used his cot.
