Because of the complexity of the COVID-19 outbreak, many governments have advised their citizens to self-isolate and not going out if it isn’t necessary. Places like California have even imposed a curfew on the elderly, the most vulnerable group in this pandemic.
Places for entertainment like coffee shops and movie theaters have also been temporarily closed to prevent the spread of the virus.
However, for some people, staying indoors for too long is actually a very difficult challenge. Some need snacks while sitting at home streaming movies, playing games all day, or even working only.
Now, if you don’t want to go out, most will choose to order food only. However, this young man didn’t do so. Why spend an extra shipping fee when you can send your loyal dog to buy you food?
Just three days after self-isolation, Antonio Munoz from Mexico began to miss Cheetos (a popular snack in the US). He was tormented to the point he had to “ask” his dog Chokis to get him a pack of Cheetos. To make it convenient for the seller, Antonio wrote a very clear note of his request and attached it to Chokis’ necklace.
The note read: “Hi. Please sell my dog a pack of Cheetos, the orange one, not the red one. The red one is too spicy. I have also attached a $20 bill to the dog’s collar. A little reminder: Be gentle with it, otherwise it will bite you. Signed: Your neighbor who lives opposite your store.”
Perhaps because the distance wasn't too far, Chokis successfully completed the task without getting lost.
Self-isolation has clearly affected many people’s lives, disrupting their living habits. Recently, a guy in Cyprus has become viral online for using a drone to take his dog out for a walk.
