The Netherlands has been put under lockdown since the end of March. Citizens can welcome into their houses a maximum of three guests as long as they maintain a safe distance of 1.5 meters. And with that rule, the idea of a sexual encounter is thrown out the window.

But the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment has admitted that it was a grim proposition to have two sex-free months. So, for people who aren’t self-quarantined with their partners, it has been recommended by the organization that they should look for “partners.”

The website even recommends that people should get a vibrator to replace intimacy if you are afraid of infection.

The advice isn’t surprising, considering it is from the Netherlands, a country known for its freedom. For example, since 2000, the country has already legalized prostitution as a profession.
