Amazon Executive Spotted Wearing AirPods While Promoting The New Echo Buds

Amazon just revealed its collection of Alexa-enabled products which include an AirPods competitor. The wireless earbuds called the Echo Buds cost $129 and are available for pre-order. But apparently, the earbuds haven’t reached Dave Limp-Amazon executive yet.

After the special event of Amazon, Dave Limp had an interview with Bloomberg about the new products. Limp works as devices and service’s senior vice president at the company.

In the interview, the senior vice president was wearing a single AirPod, instead of the new earbuds from Amazon.

People have seen before many times Apple’s competitors or famous people using Apple’s products to promote other brands’ products. But most of the time, it was accidental.

But this time, it’s clear that Amazon executive must have been informed about this interview to have some preparations yet he still wore an AirPod. Was it because the AirPods was too light and comfortable that Dave Limp didn’t even realize he was wearing it?

The incident was spotted by John Paczkowski and posted on Twitter.

Compared to its competitor AirPods, Echo Buds have the advantages of active noise cancellation, great sound quality, Alexa virtual assistant supported and a cheaper price. In contrast, AirPods are considered better than the Echo Buds in terms of battery life and compatibility with Apple devices.
