In an interview with CBS, Amazon's boss Jeff Bezos has shown his desire to make investments in developing space tech. According to him, the reason was that “we are destroying the planet” and because this tech has a great influence on the next generations’ dynamism.
During the interview, Bezos stated:

Through Blue Origin, a Bezos-owned aerospace company, he has invested a great amount of money in making developments in space technologies. In addition, he declared that the development of space tech is important for the distant future of humans.

Blue Origin is now at the beginning of the plan that is hoped to turn space into a tourist destination. A vehicle named “New Sheperd” is being experienced by the company with the aim of bringing men into the universe for short periods.
Discussing the possibility that one day, the human will live in space, Bezos mentions that this possibility will take a few hundred years to become true.

Bezos also confessed that since he was small, after watching Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin put their first steps on the moon, he has found his passion for space science.
