The first-ever space hotel in the world will be constructed in 2025 before welcoming guests two years later.
The Voyager Station hotel will be built with restaurants, a spa, a cinema, and rooms for 400 guests. The hotel will resemble being on the moon's surface as it won’t be possible for people to become completely weightless for a long period of time without proper training. Outside of the Voyager Station hotel’s rotating ring, there will be a series of pods. Some of them could be sold to NASA and ESA for research purposes.
On its website, the Orbital Assembly Corporation writes that the hotel will be designed to accommodate not only national space agencies for low gravity research but also space tourists wanting to experience what it is like on a space station.
The Voyager Class space station will consist of a series of rings. And attached to the outermost of these rings will be a number of modules. The Gateway Foundation will operate these 24 modules that will be for things like power, air, water, and accommodation. The station will also have a kitchen, a restaurant, a bar, a gym, and other essential facilities.
Some of the pods will be for the hotel staff and guests while some will be sold to the government agencies or NASA. At the moment, there is no information regarding the space station’s building cost as well as how much it will be to spend one night here.
