OnePlus Nord N10 5G is the expansion of the original OnePlus Nord series known for good battery life and solid performance.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Display And Design
Brands are raising their game for midrange phones and many of them now flaunt a modern look and a decent performance, to which the OnePlus Nord N10 5G can attest. The phone has rounded corners and a hole-punch notch from which the selfie camera pokes. The only complaint here is the quite big chin at the bottom.
On the other side, the phone bears the quintessential appearance of an OnePlus handset. The rectangle camera module on the back houses the four snappers of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. The only feature that is out of the ordinary is the rear fingerprint scanner.
While the phone looks premium, touching it and the plastic back will give the midrange price tag away.
The volume rocker, the power button, and the USB-C port are on the sides and at the bottom, you will find a weird-looking hole which the instruction says was the headphone jack.
The 6.49-inch 1080p display dominates the front of the phone. While users don’t have a high resolution, the 90Hz refresh rate can make up for that. The screen has vivid colors and is bright enough to be legible under direct sunlight.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Performance And Battery
Under the hood, OnePlus Nord N10 5G runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset paired with RAM of 6GB and inbuilt storage of 128GB. While the combination isn’t bad, a similar sum of money can afford you phones that are more powerful, like the Google Pixel 4a and its Snapdragon 730G.
The power limitation of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G specs is evident when sometimes it takes the phone a few seconds to load the keyboard. Most of the time, the handset is smooth and snappy but when it runs into issues, you are immediately reminded that you are using a budget phone.
The handset can well be a gaming phone. Loading is a bit slow but games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty: Mobile worked fine in our tests.
The phone draws power from a 4,300mAh battery and it can easily last for a whole day on a single charge, provided that you disable the always-on display.
The handset has support for Warp Charge 30T with a charger bundled in the box, meaning you can have a full battery after 30 minutes of charging.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G, as the name suggests, has support for 5G with Sub-6 5G connectivity.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Camera
The phone has four cameras on the back, which might lead to an assumption that the setup is versatile or has a telephoto lens. On the contrary, none of these is true. What you have is a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP macro, and a 5MP depth sensor.
Overall, photos taken by the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is decent, but not groundbreaking. Most of the time, colors are muted and not as vivid as you may expect from a handset released in 2020. Tricky situations will definitely bring out all the limitations of the phone’s cameras.
If the best photography ability is what you want, Pixel 4a is a solid handset for the job with a price similar to the Nord N10 5G.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Software
OnePlus Nord N10 5G runs on OxygenOS 10.5, not the OxygenOS 11 that is becoming more and more available. However, the software is still easy to navigate and easy to use.
OnePlus has added some extra features Zen mode which limits your own access to the handset for a certain amount of time, or the App Locker allows you to hide apps away behind a PIN code or a fingerprint scanner.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G Price, Warranty, And Availability
The phone is retailed for $299.99 in the U.S. OnePlus Nord N10 5G price in India is expected to be Rs. 28,790.
The phone is protected by the usual 12-month warranty that covers manufacturer defects only.
