Samsung has come up with the idea of cutting-edge and notches designs. Recently, LetsGoDigit has found out that Samsung wants to protect this idea and does not want anyone to use it, Samsung has applied for a patent at the Korean Intellectual Property Office. Up to 6 notch designs look like “teardrop” are patented by the company. Each model has a front camera that sinks deeper and deeper away from the screen frame.

Recently, Samsung has also been granted a patent by the USPTO, which is a notch that looks similar to the designs submitted to the patent office in Korea. We still can not be sure that these designs will be applied to the upcoming Samsung products. It is possible for the phone manufacturer to register the copyright to protect all their ideas and come up with no final choice. This is also a frequent occurrence in the technology industry.

As described, the camera will be located in the middle of the screen different from the previous information about a camera hole in the corner of the screen. The 6 designs of the notch do not have too much difference with each other, only the third pattern is a bit more striking as the notch is in the frame while there is a cutout.

This design seems likely to be for Samsung's smartphones in the mid-range segment, which is cheaper. As people expect the appearance of the phone hole for the camera on the screen in the high-end line.

Display holes and tiny notches are designs that consumers can expect to launch next year from different smartphone makers. Next, we can expect the camera phones hidden behind the screen to be developed in 2020.
