Samsung Galaxy Note 10 With 5G Support To Be Unveiled: Source Code

We are stepping on the 5G era. Over the past month, the market has witnessed the launch of various smartphones with 5G support. Among notable phone makers, South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its Galaxy S10 5G along with the Galaxy S10 lineup and foldable smartphone. According to an XDA Developers’ report, Samsung probably unveils its Galaxy Note 10 with 5G support by the end of this year. The information appeared through the kernel source code of the Samsung’s Exynos 9820 SoC powering the Galaxy S10 series comprising of the 5G variant.

According to the report, the South Korean company has recently posted the chipset’s source code with the codename, “Davinic5G”. The alleged codename belongs to the upcoming Galaxy Note lineup models. And the 5G availability is likely to expand to many nations in the Q2, 2019 when the Galaxy Note smartphones are unveiled. As mentioned before, it is expected that two Note 10 variants including the Galaxy Note 10 5G and the Galaxy Note 10 will be available on the market.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S10 models including Galaxy S10 5G respectively have codenames of BeyondX, Beyond2, Beyond1, and Beyond0 in the source code. In addition, another device having the codename, “luge”, appeared in Samsung’s Exynos 9820 SoC. According to previous rumors, it is said to be a prototype of a foldable smartphone of Samsung. However, the Galaxy Fold has another codename which is “Winner”. Therefore, “luge” codename is likely to be another foldable phone that Samsung has been working on.
