Realme Tops The Chart On Flipkart In India, Already Sold One Million Units

Realme is currently the best-selling smartphone brand of the ranking on Flipkart in the Indian market. To celebrate the success, both the brand and Flipkart ran a promotion event and already sold 1 million units.

OPPO’s sub-brand Realme has really achieved a huge success in the India market. It is reported that the brand was the best-selling phone brand on Flipkart in 3 consecutive months from June to August, 2019. In particular, in August alone, the company took up more than 40 percent of phone revenue at online stores, which is three times more than rival Xiaomi.

For instance, when you buy a Realme smartphone, you can receive the Complete Mobile Protection for Rs.1. This is due to the fact that CMIR Mobile Industry Consumer Insights evaluated Realme as the no.1 Quality Smartphone Brand this month.

The success of Realme in the Indian market does not come by chance. This brand has been equipping many interesting features for its smartphones in many different price segments. Additionally, it was also one of the first phone makers to offer a full-view display smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera at an affordable price. Not to mention, the company was among the pioneers in introducing the Snapdragon 700 series chipset to mid-range phone segment.

Now, Realme seems to change its strategy when preparing for the launch of the first flagship powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. As you may know, rival Xiaomi already launched the Xiaomi K20 Pro with the regular Snapdragon 855 chipset in the Indian market. However, we strongly expect that the upcoming X2 Pro of Realme will have a more competitive price, just like the Poco F1 launched last year. For further information, Realme is beginning to build in Europe and in China, however, its main target is still the Indian market.
