Oppo A11 is believed to be a slightly upgraded model of the Oppo A5 (2020) that launched in India last month.

The Oppo A5 (2020) arrives in India last month, and now a similar smartphone is said to be coming to China under a different name, Oppo A11. The handset was spotted in listings on the China Telecom website with key specs and a price tag. The key differences between the Oppo A5 (2020) and the Oppo A11 are the selfie camera and the rear camera.

The listing shows that the phone will have a 6.5-inch display and dewdrop notch on the top of the display for the 16MP selfie camera. At the back, there is a camera module that houses three cameras stacked vertically and a depth sensor on the right side along with an LED flash.

Because the device also has a fingerprint reader mounted at the back, the display is most likely an LCD panel. If it were an OLED one, the company would have gone for an in-display fingerprint reader instead.

In terms of specifications, the primary camera is tipped to carry 48MP resolution, which is better than the 12MP shooter on the A5. As for the memory configuration, the phone is listed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. And all of these will set you back by RMB 1,599 (around Rs. 16,000).

These features might suggest that the upcoming Oppo A11 is actually much closer to the Oppo A9 (2020) instead. However, the brand already announced the Oppo A11x as a rebranded model of the A9 (2020) in China.

To recall, the Oppo A5 (2020) made its first debut in India last month alongside the Oppo A9 (2020). The handset costs Rs. 12,490 for the variant with 3GB of RAM and Rs. 13,990 for the model with 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the price of the Oppo A9 2020 in India starts at Rs 16,990 for the model with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and goes up to Rs 19,990 for the option with 8GB RAM + 128GB RAM.
