Many reports have shown that the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi and the Korean giant Samsung are sharing the leading position in the phone market in India. IDC also suggests that the number of global phone shipments may decline in 2018, but will increase by 2.6 percent in the upcoming year. The overall trend of phone shipments in China will most likely be consistent with the global market’s, both of which are in decline, and the IDC believes that it will reduce by 8.8 percent.
