Indian Phone Maker Brings Centric S1 To MWC 2019 With Pop-Up Selfie Camera

Chinese OEMs are not the only ones to feature a pop-up camera on their phones. The made-in-India Centric S1 offers the same thing.

Chinese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are not the only ones to feature a pop-up camera on their phones. An Indian smartphone make has headed for a similar move; in particular, Centric will soon release a smartphone with a pop-up selfie lens. A BGR report says that at the 2019 Mobile World Congress, the company is unveiling the Centric S1, its first pop-up selfie camera smartphone, which is like the Vivo NEX and Vivo V15 Pro.

Specifically speaking, the phone will be introduced in Barcelona, on February 25. After that, the phone will be on sale for Indian consumers within the next two or three months.
The information collected says that Centric will offer the pop-up selfie camera with a lot of features such as dual-camera setup, in-screen fingerprint scanner, wireless charging as well as the latest Android Pie 9. The phone will probably have a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent.
Besides the Centric S1, MWC 2019 will also witness another four phones from the company, namely Centric G5, Centric G3, Centric A2, and Centric L4, the event will take place in Barcelona, Spain. These phones aim at different categories, targeting at young millennials as well as those who use smartphones for the first time.
Vivo V15 Pro
Centric is a smartphone manufacturer based in India, which belongs to Priyanka Telecom Group. Currently, the company works in more than 50 cities around the country and claims to provide a strong network with over 500 distributor and more than 23,000 retailers located in various regions of the east, west, and north of India.
As mentioned above, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with a single selfie camera that pops up. The camera has an impressive resolution of 32 megapixels, placed on the same side with the phone’s rear camera which helps it look more aligned. A little while back in 2018, the Vivo NEX also had a pop-up selfie camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.
