Huawei has just introduced a new smartphone called Huawei Y9s in the mid-range segment. The device is announced as a rebranded version of the Honor 9X Pro that launched earlier in the year. However, instead of coming with a Kirin 810 like the 9X Pro, the Huawei Y9s draws power from a Kirin 710F octa-core processor. Other than that, the two devices have the same specs and features. They include a 6.59-inch notch-free FHD+ display, triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP pop-up selfie camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Huawei Y9s: Price & Availability
The price of the Huawei Y9s is set at $239 in Iraq, which is equivalent to around Rs. 17,000 in Indian currency. It is available in Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black hues.

The company hasn’t revealed the availability and sale date of the phone in other regions.
Huawei Y9s: Specifications & Features
On the front, there is a 6.59-inch notch-free screen with FHD+ resolution and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is driven by a Kirin 710F instead of a Kirin 810 of the Honor 9X Pro. The chipset is still aided by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card up to 512GB). Software-wise, it runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.1 atop.
On the imaging front, it features the same 16MP pop-up selfie shooter on the front for taking selfie shots. At the back, there is a triple camera cluster, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. For security, the company offers a fingerprint sensor, which is mounted in its power button on the right spine. Its battery capacity is 4,000 mAh battery and can be refilled via a USB Type-C port with 10W charging tech.
