This is said to be the Huawei Y6 (2019) with a different moniker and some minor differences.

Shortly after launching the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei has continued to add another addition to its mobile portfolio. This time it is a budget offering called Huawei Y6 Prime (2019). The phone is similar to the recently-launched Huawei Y6 (2019) besides some differences in hardware specs. Compared to its predecessor Huawei Y6 Prime (2018), it comes with some major changes in both design and features.

The Huawei Y6 Prime (2019) is expected to sport a 6.09-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 720x1560 pixels resolution, a water-drop notch and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, it comes packed with an MTK Helio A22 chipset with 2GB RAM/32GB storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot up to 512GB. As for the camera, it has a single 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and an 8MP selfie camera up front. The phone is also equipped with a “Selfie Toning Flash 2.0” that is touted to boost your selfie photo quality.

The photos of the handset also show a fingerprint sensor at the back along with a power button and volume rockers at the right side. Other notable features include a dated micro-USB port and a headphone jack. As for software, the handset will run the latest Android 9.0 Pie at launch with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 on top. The bottom chin of the phone is quite thick with a Huawei branding in the middle.

Powering the handset will be a 3,020mAh cell though it’s unlikely to come with fast charging support. According to the report, it will likely have FM Radio feature, and it is listed on the description page to come in a total of three colour variants, including Amber Brown, Midnight Black, and Sapphire Blue. It is further said to be priced at PKR 21,499 which is around Rs. 10,500. It is unknown where the phone will come to India or not.
