1. Always download apps only from the trustworthy Play Store of Google

Be careful from where you get the apps that you want. First and foremost, threats often come from unofficial sources. So before thinking about any advanced protection plan, you should keep your smartphone away of uncertain downloads. There’s only the most trustworthy source that guarantees us, Google’s Play Store. Even when you find some amazing apps on the Internet, please check for its availability in the Play Store, because all of “healthy” apps are integrated into it.
2. Keep your Google Play Protect on

Google provides its essential security solution Play Protect to ensure your phone to get away from threats from malicious apps. To scan any app that you’ve already downloaded from the Play Store, all you need to do is turning it on in Settings -> Security -> Play Protect
3. Keep the eye on the app permissions

Before confirming to download the app, you should carefully check the permissions required by the apps and allow only those which you find them important. Note that if that app seems to be suspicious, don’t allow anything.
4. Always say “No” to suspicious links and emails

Simply, a couple of intended attacks hide their maneuver under a mail or link. Clicking on them would lead your phone to downloading process of malware.
5. Avoid visiting suspicious websites

Suspicious sites consist of risks such as tracking your device or releasing viruses to your smartphone.
6. Log out of your app or services

It’s safe to say that staying logged-in will make it fast to access, but it also means that someone who has your handset can get inside those services. So make sure to log out of all the apps and services once you are done with it.
7. Set up strong passwords, use them wisely

Don’t be the user who takes only one password for all services. Imagine that if someone knew your password, they would be likely to try it on your other accounts. Besides, you should never use some kinds of texts like ‘123456’ for your password.
8. Use VPN

When you access a free Wifi, using VPN is actually necessary because it will establish a secure connection to your phone. However, you should avoid connecting your phone to an unknown or unlocked WiFi network.
