Honor 8S: Key Specs & Photos Surfaced Online

Yesterday, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just launched the Honor 8A Pro and shortly after that, the specifications and photos of another offering from Honor dubbed Honor 8S just surfaced online.

At the rear, the Honor 8S is expected to come with a dual-tone finish with a 13MP rear camera and an LED flash underneath the camera. On the front, it will have a 5MP camera for taking selfies and video calling housed on the water-drop notch.

As for the hardware specifications, it is tipped to be powered by an MTK Helio A22 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone will also be offered in another memory configuration for the markets in Western Europe with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The thickness of this upcoming Honor 8S will be 8.45mm and it will ship with the latest Android 9 Pie with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 on top. As for color variant, it will be offered in at least 3 color variants and a 3,020mAh cell which can be charged via a dated micro-USB port which is understandable as it is a budget offering. Lastly, the phone still has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. As for pricing, with these specifications, the Honor 8S will most likely be launched in the budget segment with a very affordable price.
