Back in October, Google launched the Pixel 3 and 3 XL, which won instant praise on certain specs, especially its outstanding camera. Nevertheless, the phone has continuously shown several flaws, and the list is still going on.
Most recently, users complained that the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL have issues in connection and call quality.
As seen on the product forums of Google as well as Reddit page, a lot of Pixel users reported several problems when making calls with the phone, including low quality of audio on calls, long waits on connection, microphone failures, and so on. It appears that the phone may have succeeded in many aspects, but it fails on the most basic ones.
Google cannot immediately discover where the problems come from, and we don’t know when they will be fixed. Moreover, complaints have come from various nations and regions across the world, so it’s not like the flaws are limited to any specific regions. All in all, Google’s reputation is fading even with its fans and long-time users.
Previously, other matters were reported about the two Pixel phones. For example, there was a bug that caused the phone to display two notches, but that was not too serious as users said that second notch disappeared after they reset the phone. In addition, other issues arose like the phone’s camera did not save pictures after taking one, the camera displayed a fatal error message and could not be used, the music app suddenly shut down while in use, the battery was not as strong as advertised, the wireless charging feature was not as quick as expected, etc.
Regarding Google’s effort, it worked and managed to fix a few problems, it gave a new phone to some users who reported the fastest, and tried to update is software for better user experience.
However, with all these issues, Google still needs to try harder if it doesn’t want to lose all of its customers.
