DxOMark has just released a new camera review of Google Pixel 4. Also, there is a video review that should offer the viewers the biggest pros and cons of the phone, so you might not need to go through the whole thing. Let’s take a look at it:
As expected, the general camera performance of the handset is quite good. It has accurate exposure metering in the bright light, and the image detail is amazing both outdoors and indoors. Additionally, the phone’s exposure in the low light environments is quite nice too. Furthermore, the handset had an impressive performance with its telephoto camera when capturing stills indoors and during the day.
In the video test, the phone offers smooth video recording due to the great stabilization and adaptive frame rate.
Apart from various plus points of the phone, it still has several disadvantages. For instance, according to DxOMark, there were several artifacts in slowly panning videos, in several images like Moire effect, some ringing artifacts near edges, loss of detail when zooming in short range, and color shading in every scenario.

The phone seems to perform well, but ultimately, it only gains 112 points in total, putting in the share eighth spot with Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It even has a lower score than Honor 20 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro. To recall, the dual rear camera setup of the Pixel 4 includes a 12.2MP main sensor and a 16MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. On the front, it has an 8MP camera and a 3D ToF shooter for selfies and video chats.
For further information, the search-engine giant Google announced that its Pixel 4 series phones will not come to India as the radar uses 60GHz mmWave frequency. It is known that this is not allowed for civilian use in the country at the moment.
