Xiaomi, the Chinese phone manufacturer, has become the company with the largest single-brand retail network in India. The network includes Mi Store, Mi Home, and Mi Studio. The second place belongs to the Korean phone maker Samsung. Occupy the third, fourth, and fifth place is Café Coffee Day, Dominos Indian, and Bata respectively.
According to Sundeep Holani, the CEO of Channelplay, a provider in channel and retail solutions, a large number of consumers prefer to have a physical experience with the product before deciding whether to purchase it. And another big proportion feels reluctant to buy something with a high value online.
The study of Channelplaylooked into sectors including pharmacy, apparel, jewelry, furniture, footwear, furnishings, electronics, watches, and many more.
Some other brands appear on this study are Ferns & Petals, More Supermarket, HP, Baskin Robbins, Kohler, Benetton, Reliance Fresh, McDonald's, Puma, Lenovo, and Subway.
In a separate news release, Xiaomi will launch the Mi Note 10, the global version of Mi CC9 Pro launched today in China, on the 6th of November in Spain. For now, we have had no information on whether the company intends to release the new smartphone in India or not.
Some rumors said that the Mi CC9 Pro or Mi Note 10 globally would feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. This will be the very first time the company makes use of this chipset on its devices. The closest we have is the Redmi K20 running on Snapdragon 730.
The Snapdragon 730 is a powerful processor that can handle day-to-day tasks with ease. Users will rarely notice lag or stutter with this chipset. So the Snapdragon 730G is expected to deliver similar performance.
