Bezos’ space company Blue Origin by signing contract with the ULA will be the official provider of rockets for the United State military.

The year 2018 has been quite a good year for the famous billionaire Jeff Bezos. Not only did he become the richest man to have ever lived on Earth, but his big company Amazon also became the next enterprise to hit the mark of a trillion worth. Confidently, Bezos will now be supplying the military of the US with rockets.

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is the US government's official spacecraft supplier. The organization also is the clipd company of Lockheed and Boeing's space teams. Recently, ULA is searching for a contract partner for its spacecraft engines. With a potential space company named Blue Origin, the world's richest man alive Jeff Bezos has successfully got the contract to become ULA's partner in providing engines.

ULA came to the decision to find an American partner after the organization realized that they want to end their dependence on RD-180 enigne which is made by the Russian. With the partnership contract signed, the BE-4 rocket made by Blue Origin is now putting into use for national security mission, in which rockets are used to launch US military satellites. And it was a neck to neck situation between Blue Origin and Aerojet Rocketdyne over the contract.

ULA will use the Blue Origin's BE-4 as main enginge for the Vulcan rocket, which is now on track for the very first flight in mid 2020. Meanwhile, RocketDyne will still power upper stages of the Vulcan with its builds.

However, there's a questions of how long this contract will last. In the end, each year, Bezos put $1 billion of his own money to develop Blue Origin. In fact, the company is struggling to complete a heavy launch vehicle of its own, the New Glenn. If it manages to complete its estimated data in 2020, it will really come face to face with Vulcan.
